Happy New Year
Thunder Bay KOA!
Thunder Bay KOA Kampground & Resort has been awarded the 2014 KOA President's Award by Kampgrounds of America Inc., an award that Thunder Bay KOA has received since the award was first presented in 2003.
The President's Award is proudly presented to KOA kampgrounds that excel in providing great camping facilities and consistently high levels of customer service. Chosen by KOA's camping guests through satisfaction surveys and KOA's own stringent quality inspections, recipients of the President's award are dedicated to great KOA camping.
Thunder Bay KOA also received the 2014 Founder's Award. Dave Drum, founder of KOA, was an extraordinary visionary and dreamer. The recipients of KOA's premier achievement, the Founder's Award, share Dave's dream of providing the highest quality camping facilities while exceeding KOA guests' expectations. As leaders in outdoor hospitality, Founder's Award recipients embody Dave's vision of a KOA nation providing excellence for generations of campers.
